Q. What is the eligibility criteria for this course?
Applicants who have successfully completed Class 10 or 10+2 / equivalent qualification from a recognised board or institution are eligible to apply. Students from any academic background can apply, and no prior design background is required.
Q: What is the duration of the programme?
The Visual Communication Design programme is a 3-year degree programme, with the first two years at the Raffles Design International Mumbai campus and the final year at the Raffles Singapore campus, subject to meeting the required academic progression criteria.
Q: Is the VCD course a degree programme?
Yes. The VCD programme is a degree pathway leading to a degree awarded by the University of Northampton, UK, upon successful completion of the programme and progression requirements.
Q: Do I need a portfolio or prior design experience?
Prior design experience is not required, but applicants are required to submit a portfolio as part of the application process. The portfolio helps us understand your creative thinking, interests and potential. It can include drawings, photography, digital work, illustrations, design projects or other creative work.
