Rasika Karekar is a textile artist and a researcher. She has been teaching with various universities and colleges across India since 2013. Rasika is an author of the book ‘Fashion Ethics and Sustainability: Bringing change from Highstreet to Luxury’, 2014. She is founder of the brand Mruja, 2014, which focuses on bespoke handloom textiles and jewellery while centring on ethics and sustainability. Rasika has also guided handloom weavers in product designing under a project associated with Textile of India.
